Description

 

The Imicus is a slow but hard-shelled frigate, ideal for any type of scouting activity. Used by merchant, miner and combat groups, the Imicus is usually relied upon as the operation's eyes and ears when traversing low security sectors.

Author's Note: I will assume that you have trained frigate up to level 4 and alpha maxed your scanning, which means all scanning skills to level 3 which is max for Alpha.

High Slots

 

A core probe launcher I is really enough. The only expensive item here are the sisters core scanner probes (About 3 million for 8 of them) but you can also go for the usual ones. The sisters has 44 scan strength and the normal one 40.

Medium Slots

  

We only have 4 slots so we have decisions to make. The Relic Analyzer 1, 5MN Microwarpdrive I are a must which leaves us with 2 choices:

You can go Scan Rangefinding Array I + Data Analyzer for more scan strength and hack data sites.
Or you can go Cargo Scan + Scan Rangefinding Array I so you can scan relic sites faster and not hack empty or worthless containers. The choice is yours!

Low Slots

Nanofiber Internal Structure I 2x because we are already flying a fragile ship and we are avoiding combat at all cost so more speed is welcome. The Imicus has 1 more Low Slot left and for this build I decided to take an inertial stabilizer I but really you can put in anything you wish here.

Rig Slots

 

Small Gravity Capacitor Upgrade 2x as it adds scan strength which you need to find all those sites. You could get 1 Small Emission Scope Sharpener I instead this will give you +10 Relic Virus Coherence Bonus.

Virus Coherence is your hacking "health bar".
