Description

 

This Magnate-class frigate is one of the most decoratively designed ship classes in the Amarr Empire, considered to be a pet project for a small, elite group of royal ship engineers for over a decade. The frigate's design has gone through several stages over the past decade, and new models of the Magnate appear every few years. The most recent versions of this ship – the Silver Magnate and the Gold Magnate – debuted as rewards in the Amarr Championships in YC105, though the original Magnate design is still a popular choice among Amarr pilots.

Author's Note: I will assume that you have trained frigate up to level 4 and alpha maxed your scanning, which means all scanning skills to level 3 which is max for Alpha.

High Slots

 

A core probe launcher I is really enough. The only expensive item here are the sisters core scanner probes (About 3 million for 8 of them) but you can also go for the usual ones. The sisters has 44 scan strength and the normal one 40.

Medium Slots

  

Because the Magnate only has 3 medium slots you are very limited regarding choices. Either you specialize in only Relic sites and go for the Relic Analyzer, Cargo Scanner, and 5MN Microwarpdrive I. Or you remove the cargo scanner and replace it with a Data Analyzer I.
Personally I prefer to go with just the Relic Analyzer because with the cargo scanner I don't waste my time hacking containers that are in reality empty. Time = money!

Low Slots

Nanofiber Internal Structure I 2x because we are already flying a fragile ship and we are avoiding combat at all cost so more speed is welcome.Magnate has 4 low slots so we add 2 more Inertial Stabilizers I which improves the ship handling and maneuverability.

Rig Slots

 

Small Gravity Capacitor Upgrade 2x as it adds scan strength which you need to find all those sites. You could get 1 Small Emission Scope Sharpener I instead this will give you +10 Relic Virus Coherence Bonus.

Virus Coherence is your hacking "health bar".
